I recently enjoyed a delightful stay at Harbour Cottage, right in the heart of Stromness. With its prime location just a stone's throw from the ferry terminal and vibrant harbour, watching the bustling wharf activity from our cozy nook was an absolute treat. The cottage was impeccably clean and had everything we needed—from kitchen essentials to quality linens, making our stay both comfortable and convenient. After long days of exploring the breathtaking landscapes of Orkney, including the nearby Ring of Brogdar and lovely hiking spots, we appreciated the warmth that greeted us back at the cottage on those chilly evenings. David, the host, was incredibly welcoming, ensuring our arrival was seamless. The friendly locals truly enhanced our experience, and I can’t wait to return, ideally with some friends to share the charming, restorative vibes of this delightful spot!
